Animations for Valencia for FITUR 2025

Thanks to the amazing Art Direction by TROPICO STUDIO and ABSOLUTE I had the chance to work on one of the most challenging things I’ve done.

It’s tough to capture the full impact of this project online, mainly because it was designed for a 40-meter-long screen. Yep, forty. Meters.

The animation was part of FITUR, one of the biggest tourism fairs in Europe, held every January in Madrid. The goal? To bring the region of Valencia to life through colorful illustrated scenes. Think flowers, oranges, beaches, mountains, and everything in between.

This piece was part of a looping visual experience, paired with bold text animations, all tied to the identity of Valencia. The tricky part was working in such a huge, panoramic format while making sure the loop felt seamless. No obvious cuts where the animation wrapped back around. Definitely a unique challenge, but also a super fun one to figure out.
