Make your viewers stick to the screen
If you're still making static content in 2025 I'm sorry to tell you you're seriously missing out.
Hi, I'm Sara!
I'm a motion designer and illustrator making fun, thoughtful visuals for brands who care about standing out.
I help brands communicate their value through engaging animations and explainer videos. Whether that’s telling your story, explaining what you do in a simple yet engaging way, or promoting your product.
From colorful character animations to fast-paced rhythmic edits, sometimes I’m the one doing it all (storyboard, design, animation), other times I’m part of a bigger team. Either way, I’m all in.
Why Motion Design?
Because people feel more than they think.
Static content is passive and easy to ignore. The strategic use of animation, kinetic typography, and visual effects in marketing materials is a very powerful solution to make a lasting impression and stop the scroll.
Let’s be real, digital marketing has changed a lot in the past few years. Video isn’t just a “nice-to-have” anymore, it’s basically the main character. According to Wyzowl’s 2025 Video Marketing report, 89% of businesses are using video to market themselves, and 95% of marketers say it’s a key part of their strategy. So yeah… if you're not using video, you're kinda missing out.
In a world where content is everywhere and attention spans are microscopic, video seriously pulls its weight. According to a study by Ideal Insight, videos can boost website traffic by 157%. That kind of stat pretty much explains why motion design isn’t just a fun extra anymore.
But why animation in specific? Why not just some stock footage or just record the video yourself?
Let me give you 4 reasons to start with.
1) There's no limit on creativity - With animation, there are literally no limits. You want floating cities? Talking plants? A cookie doing yoga? Go for it. Unlike live action, you’re not tied to locations, props, or gravity. You can create any vibe, world, or scene you want. That means that you also have a lot more flexibility and therefore are able to show visually even complex or abstract concepts.
2) They're unique and memorable - Animation stands out, it’s a fact. Custom colors, characters, and scenes make your brand instantly more memorable than another “person-talking-to-camera” video. Plus, studies show that people remember animated content up to 15% better. So if you want to stick in someone’s brain (without being annoying), animation’s your friend.
3) They can be created anywhere - Now let's talk logistics. Shooting live action can turn into a full-blown production real fast. Actors, locations, gear, lighting… chaos. With animation? You just need a good animator and a laptop that doesn’t overheat. That’s it. It’s way more chill (and deadline-friendly).
4) They're more budget friendly yet they offer similar outcomes - Animation skips the whole “lights, camera, filming” situation. No need for actors, gear, sets, or location permits. That means way less stress but you still get a slick, professional result that hits just as hard as live action (sometimes harder). So if your budget’s not blockbuster-sized, animation lets you do more with less, without looking like you cut corners.
Boosting Reach and Engagement
According to the 2025 Animated Marketing Report, videos that use kinetic typography (aka animated text usually very dynamic and rhythmic) had a 42% higher completion rate than ones with plain old static text. Basically, moving words = more people sticking around to watch. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference when it comes to keeping attention.
When someone stumbles across your brand for the first time, you’ve got seconds to make an impression. A good animated video lets you tell your story in a way that’s way more engaging than a block of text. It’s visually rich, emotionally involving, and dang it’s fun!
Think about the ads you don’t skip. The ones you actually watch. Think about the RedBull and how their animated shorts have become absolutely iconic (I know you’re thinking about it “RedBull gives you wiiiiings”).
Animation and motion design make people feel something, and when they feel something, they’re way more likely to remember you, check out what you do, and actually trust your brand.
Using animation, bold shapes, colors, and characters isn’t just a cute extra, and no, it’s not “just for kids.” It’s a smart, strategic choice that works across all digital platforms. Whether you’re a new brand trying to stand out or an established one looking to shake things up.
Great motion needs great direction
So, motion design is powerful, we’ve covered that. But it can be tricky to do it right. That’s where I come in. I help brands turn their ideas into fun, fresh and good looking animation that connect with their audience. Whether you already have a full concept or just a rough idea, I’ll help shape it into something that moves, flows, and feels 100% on-brand.
What the process looks like
in 3 simple steps
We polish your idea and make it “chef’s kiss”
That means what do you want to say, why and how?
We decide how that’s going to look
Think, colors, shapes, maybe character. The overall style of the piece.
We make it move, add some details and BAM - you’ve got a nice animated video
If you can’t stop watching it, it means I’ve done a good job. If' that’s not the case, I keep working until that happens!
P.s. The “We” stands for “we do it together” ;)
